Steel Stair Treads
Steel grating stair treads are avaialble fabricated to any size in type “W” welded, type “DT” dovetail pressure locked, or type “SL” swage locked grating. Treads are manfucatured with a defined visitlbe nosing and pre-punched end carrier plates or angles, ready for bolting or welding to the stair stringers.

Recommend for use with 19, 15, and 11 spaced gratings.

Recommended for use with 8 and 7 spaced gratings.
Nosing Options
Slip-resistant tread nosings are aviallbe with standard 1-1/4″ width.
Optional 2″ wide nosings are available for applications subject ot California Tite 24 and the California Building Code (must be specified at time of order).
Checker plate nosing welded to grating and carrier plates/angles.
Cast abrasive nosing mechanically fastened to welded mounting angle.
FRP nosing mechanically fastened to welded mounting angle.
OnGrip nosing welded to grating and carrier plates/angles.
